Title - Drone shields dont recharge after returning to ship


Drones shields which have sustained damage do not regenerate when the drones are recalled. When the drones are launched again they still have damaged shields. There is no mention of this as a change in the patch notes.

Did you check or are you just "sure". Like I was sure that CCP couldnt release software with a virus in it that deleted boot.ini?

I can assure you its not mentioned in the Patch notes. Please feel free to actually read the patch notes and prove me wrong.

If it is by design it is the most ludicrous nerf of drone boats ever devised.

1. You have effectively reduced drone hit points by hundreds which will result in a lot more drone losses
2. You have not compensated for the reduced drone HP with a larger drone bay
3. You have not provided the ability to see which drones are damaged in the drone bay so preventing re-launch of daaged drones
4. You have not reduced the cost of drones to compensate for the increased loss of drones that will result

In short you have made the Ishtar & Dominix unplayable. The Domi is my main lvl4 mission runner. I will now lose more ISK in T2 drones than I will make from bounties.

There was no mention of this in patch notes or dev blogs.

Right, just checked and you¦re correct, there was no mention of it in Dev Blogs or Patch notes...I was wondering where I heard about the change and it was from a forum thread: http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=592868&page=4115

Now, I also use predominantly drones on one of my characters, but you have to take good changes with bad and how different people feel about each issue. I¦m sorry if you feel this is a big nerf, but this is by design.

I dont use "predominantly Drones" I only use drones and 7,500,000 of my skill points have been invested in drones based on hours of carefull research, planning, testing and investment of time and money over 2 years. If they had been designed like this from the start I would have trained Guns instead.

You didnt respond to any of the points I raised above. Just the standard CCP F.U.

You guys **** me off the way you think its ok to trash 2 years of someones investment in the game without a second thought. The way you sneaked this one in the back door with out a word just stinks.
